5.2 Delivery Attempts
- Courier partners typically make 1-3 delivery attempts
- Customer must be available to receive delivery
- Packages may be returned to sender after failed delivery attempts
- Re-delivery charges may apply for subsequent attempts
- DrishtiKit not responsible for failed deliveries due to recipient unavailability
5.3 Delivery Confirmation
- Delivery confirmation based on courier partner records
- Signature or OTP verification may be required
- Proof of delivery provided by courier partner is final
- Customer responsible for checking package contents immediately
- Complaints after delivery confirmation may not be entertained
6. Risk and Liability
6.1 Risk Transfer
Risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer upon handover to the shipping carrier. DrishtiKit is not liable for any loss, damage, or delay that occurs during transit.
6.2 Limited Liability
DrishtiKit's liability for shipping-related issues is strictly limited to:
- Maximum liability equal to shipping charges paid (not product value)
- No liability for consequential or indirect damages
- No liability for business losses or lost profits
- No liability for delays or delivery failures

7. Tracking and Communication

- Tracking details provided when available from courier partner
- Tracking information may not be real-time or accurate
- DrishtiKit not responsible for tracking system errors
- Customer should contact courier partner directly for tracking issues
7.2 Communication
- Shipping updates sent to provided email/phone when available
- Customer responsible for monitoring communications
- DrishtiKit not liable for missed communications
- Response time for shipping inquiries: 3-5 business days
8. Damaged or Lost Packages
8.1 Damage During Transit
- Damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery
- Customer must refuse damaged packages or note damage on delivery receipt
- Photographic evidence required for damage claims
