Cancellation & Refund Policy

Important Notice

This policy is designed to protect DrishtiKit's business interests. All cancellations and refunds are at our sole discretion. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these restrictive terms.

1. General Policy Statement

DrishtiKit maintains a highly restrictive cancellation and refund policy to protect our business operations, inventory management, and resource allocation. All sales are considered final unless explicitly approved by DrishtiKit management under exceptional circumstances at our sole and absolute discretion.

NO GUARANTEES: This policy does not guarantee any right to cancellation or refund. All requests are subject to evaluation and may be denied for any reason or no reason at all.

2. Order Cancellation

2.1 Pre-Shipment Cancellation

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted within 2 hours of order placement
  • All cancellation requests require written notice to contact@drishtikit.com
  • Cancellation approval is entirely at DrishtiKit's discretion
  • Even approved cancellations may incur processing fees up to 25% of order value
  • Custom or specially configured products cannot be cancelled under any circumstances
  • Orders in production or preparation cannot be cancelled

2.2 Post-Shipment Cancellation

Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. The order becomes a return request subject to our return policy below.

2.3 Cancellation Fees

  • Administrative processing fee: Minimum ₹2,500 or 15% of order value, whichever is higher
  • Inventory restocking fee: Up to 25% of order value
  • Third-party payment processing fees (non-refundable)
  • Any costs incurred by DrishtiKit in processing the original order

3. Return Policy

3.1 Strict Return Conditions

Returns are accepted ONLY under the following extremely restrictive conditions:

  • Product must be completely unused, unopened, and in original sealed packaging
  • All accessories, manuals, and components must be included in pristine condition
  • Return must be initiated within 7 days of delivery (not 30 days)
  • Prior written authorization from DrishtiKit is mandatory
  • Product must pass our quality inspection (at our sole discretion)
  • Customer must bear all return shipping costs and insurance
  • Product must not show any signs of handling, fingerprints, or storage

3.2 Non-Returnable Items

The following items are strictly non-returnable under any circumstances:

  • Any product that has been used, tested, or demonstrated
  • Products with damaged or missing packaging
  • Custom or specially configured products
  • Consumable items (batteries, charts, disposables)
  • Products purchased during promotional sales or at discounted prices
  • International orders (due to customs and regulatory complexities)
  • Products older than 7 days from delivery date
  • Products damaged by customer negligence or mishandling

3.3 Return Process

  • Contact contact@drishtikit.com with order details and reason for return
  • Wait for written authorization (may take 5-10 business days)
  • If authorized, package item exactly as received
  • Use only DrishtiKit-approved shipping methods at your expense
  • Provide tracking and insurance for the return shipment
  • Returns without authorization will be rejected and returned at your cost

4. Refund Policy

4.1 Refund Conditions

IMPORTANT: Refunds are not guaranteed even for approved returns. All refunds are subject to DrishtiKit's final approval after thorough inspection and evaluation.

  • Refunds are processed only after product passes our quality inspection
  • Inspection process may take 15-30 business days
  • We reserve the right to refuse refunds based on product condition
  • Partial refunds may be issued for products with minor defects or wear
  • Refund amount is subject to deductions as outlined below

4.2 Refund Deductions

All approved refunds are subject to the following mandatory deductions:

  • Restocking fee: 20-35% of product value
  • Administrative processing fee: Minimum ₹5,000
  • Quality inspection fee: ₹2,500
  • Original shipping charges (non-refundable)
  • Payment processing fees (non-refundable)
  • Packaging and handling fees
  • Depreciation costs for opened or handled products

4.3 Refund Processing

  • Refunds are processed within 30-45 business days after approval
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method only
  • Bank processing times are additional and beyond our control
  • International refunds may take 60-90 days and incur additional fees
  • We are not responsible for bank charges or currency conversion losses

5. Defective Product Policy

5.1 Manufacturing Defects

Claims of manufacturing defects must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. DrishtiKit will determine, at its sole discretion, whether an issue constitutes a manufacturing defect.

  • Defect determination is made solely by DrishtiKit technical team
  • Customer must provide detailed documentation and evidence
  • Product may need to be returned for inspection at customer's expense
  • Replacement or repair is at DrishtiKit's discretion, not customer's choice
  • No compensation for downtime, lost business, or consequential damages

5.2 Shipping Damage

  • Shipping damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery
  • Customer must refuse delivery or note damage on delivery receipt
  • Photographic evidence required immediately upon discovery
  • Claims not reported within 24 hours will be denied
  • DrishtiKit's liability limited to product replacement only

6. Warranty Limitations

Our product warranty is separate from this return policy and has its own terms and limitations. Warranty claims do not guarantee refunds or returns.

  • Warranty covers repair or replacement only, not refunds
  • Warranty voids if product is returned or refund is requested
  • Customer cannot claim both warranty service and return/refund
  • Warranty terms are as specified in our Terms of Service

7. Exceptions and Disclaimers

7.1 No Exceptions

This policy applies to all customers without exception. Special circumstances, hardships, or unique situations do not override these terms. No employee or representative has authority to modify these terms.

7.2 Liability Limitations

DrishtiKit's total liability for any cancellation or return is limited to the net refund amount (after all deductions). We are not liable for:

  • Business losses or lost profits
  • Shipping or handling costs
  • Time or resource investments
  • Third-party costs or fees
  • Currency fluctuations or bank charges
  • Consequential or indirect damages

7.3 Final Authority

All decisions regarding cancellations, returns, and refunds rest solely with DrishtiKit management. Our decisions are final and not subject to appeal or negotiation.

8. International Orders

International orders have additional restrictions:

  • No cancellations after order confirmation
  • No returns due to customs and regulatory complexities
  • Customer responsible for all duties, taxes, and customs fees
  • No refunds for customs delays or rejections
  • Currency conversion losses are customer's responsibility

9. Policy Changes

DrishtiKit reserves the right to modify this policy at any time without notice. Changes apply to all future orders and may apply to pending orders at our discretion.
